Joanne Padvaiskas, principal designer for “Wow! Great Place,” has been decorating homes "officially" for over a dozen years. Unofficially, decorating and design have been a passion for Joanne since childhood. Joanne's mother would marvel at her daughter's favourite pastime: rearranging all the furniture in her room every Saturday. She'd create imaginary rooms out of craft paper, creating walls and zones and work stations within her tiny, closetless room. She had a wall full of inspirational photographs of beautiful rooms she dreamed of living in one day, and now she creates them for others.

Her belief is that being a decorator is not something you can simply learn, it is something you just ARE. Adding the educational element to the innate talent has only enhanced her ability to conceive wonderful spaces that her clients love. Her attention to detail and realistic approach to decorating has earned her an excellent reputation. Her emphasis is on delivering an unparalleled level of service, listening to her clients’ needs, and finding practical but creative solutions that exceed expectations.

Leslie Ornstein is a space planning guru based out of our Montreal office, with many years of custom closet design to her credit. She has a keen eye for detail, and designs terrific built-in pieces for any room in the home. In addition to custom built-ins, her well trained eye allows her to determine exactly the right touch to add to a space to bring it to life. Her flair for design is evidenced by the many bathroom and kitchen renos she has undertaken, as well as her no-nonsense approach to decorating.

Jennifer Richard graduated at the top of her class from the Algonquin College Interior Decorating Program, and made the Dean’s list each year of the 2-year program. Her field placement was done at Wow! Great Place, and we were so impressed by her attention to detail, personable nature and ideas on design that we hired her! Her multi-faceted background touches on many creative fields. She has trained and worked as a “chef de parti”, an artist and a sculptor, as well as with an exclusive textiles store designing custom window treatments, and now her flair for design can be put to terrific use in your space!
